Questions we get every week
What licence do I need?+
A current full Australian licence, or an overseas licence (with an International Driving Permit or English translation if it's not in English). Drivers must be 21+; a small per-day surcharge applies for ages 21–24.
How does the bond work?+
The bond is a refundable pre-authorisation on your card at pickup — it isn't charged unless something needs reconciling, and any claim is always itemised with evidence. The bond amount is shown on every quote before you book.
What's included in the kilometres?+
Every class includes a generous daily allowance (150–200 km/day, pooled across your hire). Extra kilometres are charged at the disclosed per-km rate on your quote — never a surprise.
What about tolls and fines?+
Cars carry an e-tag or we match tolls to your hire; you pay the toll cost plus a disclosed $16.50 admin fee per notice. Fines are nominated to the driver as the law requires.
Can I cancel or extend?+
Cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before pickup — self-serve from the Manage Booking page. Need longer with the car? Request an extension online and we'll confirm availability.
Do you deliver?+
Yes — flat $49 delivery and collection within 25 km of our Dandenong South depot, across Melbourne's south-east.
